Vegetarians and vegans, sit down, please, we aren’t attacking you. You are free to leave all the meat for the rest of us, the omnivores.

I’m just thinking that probably 79% of Americans are on some form of diet or other at any given time during the year, with the exceptions of the sundry Winter Holidays and Independence Day.  (As a matter of fact, yes, I am, too… more on that subject later.)

You can’t give up the meat that easily. How can you have any pudding if you don’t eat your meat? Go meat!

In other words, it’s business as usual.

Who gets the keys to America? Not sure, but whoever gets the nod will

• Return the tax burden to those with the greatest ability to contribute
• Sponsor effective, quality healthcare and medications for all US citizens
• Enforce energy policies that make us green and break the cycle of petroleum addiction
• Keep our military strong by bringing them home to rest while re-routing the budget extravagances from weapons to retirement programs for veterans
• Reassess the policy for US citizenship, making it possible for illegals to become legal—
  and having industries who use that labor force pay some of the freight for the citizenship application process

Stay tuned, campers. This is going to be the most intense set of sound-bite primary stumping ever seen.

Oh, yes, and Evan Bayh… jump in and throw your hat in. You seem to be one of the most intelligent voices in DC today. But then maybe it’s better to have your astute vision in the Senate.
